Normal Lens

Coco

A normal lens produces a very natural looking photo shot- an image that the human eye perceives in the same way. Some lenses have wider or longer focuses, but normal lenses tend to have a focal length equivalent to the diagonal size of the film. If you have a standard 35mm film camera, a normal lens would be 50mm. If using 35mm film camera, a 24 x 36 mm frame would produce an extremely natural looking photo through a normal lens. A normal lens is preferred because it does not distort perspective whatsoever and has the same magnification of the human eye. The angle used in a normal lens approximately 45 degrees.
